“Nah, not really,” Khalifa said. “[I meant] an opportunity lost, but, you know, I feel like people have a chance to speak out and acknowledge younger people or people who are grinding and coming up in the game, and they don’t always take the opportunity. That’s all that was.”
In fact, Wiz said that, if anything, he was taking the opportunity to address everyone who has slept on him in recent months.
“There’s plenty of people who’ve missed that opportunity, there’s plenty of people who went back and taken that opportunity when they missed it,” he said. “It’s never too late. It wasn’t anything negative; it just is what it is. That’s the type of person I am. I’m a realistic person, so I tend to say realistic things.”
And to further drive home the point that he wasn’t singling out Wayne, Khalifa said he’d most definitely want to work with him in the future and that he’s already moved on from the whole incident.
“I don’t know why anybody would make it personal, you know?” he laughed.

I think its a smart move for him to not to single out lil Wayne, i like Wiz a lot, secondly to Weezy actually, but Wayne’s a vet, and Khalifa’s only recently gotten big.

@ wallo and @ that guy. you guys are both right and wrong. ive been listening to wiz since starpower and nothing pisses me off more than to hear “oh my god black and yellow” when really, in my opinion, it’s the worst song he’s ever made. as for weezy, his shit hasnt been good since carter 3, with the exception of no ceilings. they both have huge fan bases, but both need to start going back to their old shit. i know people are gonna think im crazy, but i wish wiz didnt blow up. i mean once he did, his shit sucked. in my opinion, rolling papers was mediocre. i would much rather listen to flight school or bar over and over again. wiz needs to get back to his old ways, and so does wayne.
