There has been a lot of attention surrounding Wiz Khalifa over the past month or so with his new release of Kush and Orange Juice, which is considered some of his best work.  But any fan may have to agree that the single, Say Yeah by Wiz Khalifa may be one of his best works to date.  This non-album single was released in 2007 in a joint effort of the Rostrum and Warner Bros. recording labels.  It was produced by Johnny Juliano , and it was first available for download in January of 2008.  This hip-hop rap artist wrote the song, and put his techno influence on it. 

The Say Yeah Wiz Khalifa single made it to the Billboard hot 100, the Rhythmic Top 40 and the Hot Rap Tracks in 2008.  Just about a year later in 2009, he left Warner Bros..  He was actually born in North Dakota in 1987, but due to a family that served in the military he spent his early years, moving from country to country and city to city.  The family finally settled in Pittsburgh, which he considers to be his home base.  Even though.  Pittsburgh is not considered a hotspot for hip-hop rap artists, Wiz Khalifa has place of attention due to his innovative music.

 Even though he parted ways with Warner Brother records, he has continued to have much success due to his releasing of mix tapes via iTunes and downloads.  Recently, his newest release, made him one of the most searched names on the Internet of the day.  He not only has original material but also will provide his rap skills to other artists songs.  Say Yeah eventually peaked at 25 on the Billboard charts.  It does remain a popular download and one of the songs that has made him well known.  He did follow-up this single with the successful “Make It Hot”, that made it to number 23 on the iTunes hip hop chart.
