The update for Bret Michaels is filled with some great news.  His doctors say that he will be able to fully recover and that he has been released from the hospital.  Dr. Joseph Zabramski stated in a news conference that he is still very sick but will be able to recuperate at home.  It is expected that he will improve and should make a 100% recovery.

 The Poison frontman suffered a brain hemorrhage on April 21 and continue to have several setbacks while hospitalized.  The doctors say that he is extremely lucky in that only 10% to 20% of people with this condition are able to completely recover and get back to their normal lifestyle.  He experienced bleeding at the base of his brain and also had a condition called hyponatremia, which caused seizures due to a lack of sodium.

 Bret Michaels has had a rough month in that he also had an emergency appendectomy earlier in April.  He has been on the Celebrity Apprentice show and had been planning an extensive tour across the United States.  The doctors attribute this success not only due to the fact that he received treatment immediately, but also his incredible fight within him.  His sister made a statement yesterday in which he said, her brother truly appreciated everyone’s good wishes.
