The Bamboozle Music Festival got underway in this weekend and one of our favorite hip-hop rap artists, Wiz Khalifa will be performing at the event. The two-day music festival is being held at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey. This festival has been around since 2003 and this year the festival should have a wide range of music options for everyone. The festival will also include performances by Drake, who just released his second single off his upcoming album.
It is expected that Wiz Khalifa will be performing his new single, Kush and Orange Juice along
with selections from some of his other mix tapes and albums. Even though the event is mostly for up-and-coming new artist, the event also showcases mainstream pop and hip-hop. Some groups and artists that will be playing will include Paramore, Weezer and Ke$sha.
In addition to Wiz Khalifa, one of the top hip-hop favorites, MGMT will be headlining at one of the main stages. One of the organizers of the event has predicted that this could be a huge spring board for Wiz Khalifa, for more national attention and success. There are nine stages and it is expected that there should be over 65,000 people attending the event over the two days. There are over 150 performers that had been scheduled to play and you can check out a complete list at the Bamboozle website.
