Michael Weatherly who plays Tony DiNozzo on the hit TV show NCIS may be looking for a raise next season. The show is beginning to end its seventh season and their viewership is up 5% from last year. It is one of the most watched shows of the whole year. So it is not surprising that several of the stars may be looking to get a pay raise. The key players of the show, including Sean Murray, Pauley Perrette, David McCallum and Michael Weatherly Cather contracts in a season and are hoping to make much more money per episode.
Cote De Pablo and Rocky Carroll, to the other key players will not have their contracts and until the end of next year season. It has been reported that CBS offered some low auctions and negotiations have come to a standstill. Neither side has made any comments but the major networks were looking to implement a pay freeze. This is not included those that were coming to the end of their contracts. Next year’s filming doesn’t start until July so there is plenty of time for things to get fixed. Most likely, CBS will not let these major players hit the road because it is them that are creating the huge ratings.
This should not have any effect on the last couple of episodes of the series ending for the season. There should be interesting twists and there’s been a rumor that the character Abby will have some kind of interesting love affair. There is even been some hints that she will be traveling to Mexico to chase this new love interest. You can catch the show every Tuesday night on CBS and if you’ve missed some, you can catch reruns over the summer. You may also want to catch some great Wiz Khalifa interviews as well.
