The Cleveland cavalier’s have beaten the Chicago Bulls during the first round of the Eastern conference NBA playoffs.  Everyone expected that Lebron James would be the outstanding star of tonight’s game, however, he seems to be suffering is from some kind of elbow injury.  He is expected to have it examined in the next day or so as the team to Paris to meet the Boston Celtics.

For the Cavs, Antawn Jamison scored 25 points and James had 19 points.  They will begin their rematch of the 2008 playoff series with the Celtics, and it should surely be quite a physical game.  Neither team likes each other very much and it should be an interesting series.

Boston won their series against Miami by winning four games against their one.  Cleveland also won their series 4 to 1 and the other team that has advanced already is Orlando, beating Charlotte four straight games.  The Western division may be locked up by Wednesday, if Utah is able to put away Denver.  Phoenix will play their game on Thursday and are ahead of Portland by one game.  The Lakers are tied to games apiece with the Oklahoma Thunder, and that game will be completed late Tuesday night.  San Antonio is leading their series 3 games to 1 over the Mavericks.
