The NBA Playoffs Begin

Published on April 16th, 2010

This weekend starts the NBA playoffs and as expected, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers are the top two teams.  The defending champion Los Angeles Lakers are expected to get through the early rounds the playoffs fairly easily, as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have been unable to capture that elusive championship ring. Start getting ready by checking out Wiz Khalifa mixtapes.

The two teams that will not be playing in the playoffs this year are the New York Knicks and the New Jersey Nets.  Both teams need a lot of help and are looking towards the off-season in order to make attractive offers two superstars such as LeBron James, who will become an unrestricted free agent.  There are also other high-profile players that will also become free agents including the Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade, Phoenix’s Amar’e Stoudemire, and Dallas’s Dirk Nowitzki.

The playoffs start for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they will face the Chicago Bulls in their opening round game.  Cleveland’s success is based on Lebron James, averaging 29.7 points, 8.6 assists and 7.3 rebounds throughout the season.  He has never won a championship ring, but was last years most valuable player.  Most people agree that it will come down to either the Lakers or the Cavaliers going to the championship game.  Right now, Lebron James is focusing on the games ahead and not be happening during the off-season.

Here are some great interviews with Wiz Khalifa!
