Okay, now we have one more relationship that is going in the toilet.  We have seen the breakup of 76 year old Larry King, the CNN talkshow host, Mel Gibson and his girlfriend have parted ways, Tiger Woods .  Marriage is probably over and Sandra Bullock has not said a word about her intentions this week.  One of the newest breakups to report is that rocker Melissa Etheridge and her partner, Tammy Lynn Michaels are calling it quits.

 They have been together for over nine years and have two children together.  Their representatives made the announcement on Wednesday that the couple is separating and that they asked for respect while they go through this difficult time.  The two exchanged vows in Malibu in September of 2003 and Tammy changed her name to Tammy Etheridge. Tammy gave birth to their twins, son Miller and daughter Johnnie Rose in 2006.

 Melissa Etheridge also has two other children, Bailey and Beckett from her previous relationship with Julie Cypher.  Obviously the month of March and April has not been very good to celebrities and their relationships.  We’ve seen numerous couples split, and there are rumors of many more high profile celebrities that may be making similar announcements in the near future.  I guess that money and stardom do not equal happy relationships.
