I didn’t know dancing was life-threatening, until I heard about the death threats made against Erin Andrews, the ESPN correspondent.  She is currently performing on Dancing with the Stars even though she has received a bunch of e-mail death threats.  She said that she will be continuing on with competition and she will have additional security to make sure that she and her family are protected.

This is the woman that had been stalked by Michael David Barrett, who has been sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for not only stalking, but also, he filmed her through a hotel  peephole when she was nude.  The guy who posted them on the Internet without her knowledge. Erin Andrews began receiving sexually explicit e-mails back in the fall, but they have gotten a little bit more violent in nature.  The e-mails have threatened that she would be murdered.  The FBI has been notified and they think they may know who he is.

 Erin Andres has also asked ABC to increase the security during the Dancing with the Stars competition in addition to the people she has already hired.  Her attorney stated that she has every intention of selling all of her operations and is not going to allow these new series of threats to prevent her from her life.  She’s actually not doing too bad in the competition and hopefully this will not distract her from being able to compete.  Hopefully they will be able to nail this guy so that she can move on with her life.
