This is not the first time that we have seen naked people in music videos.  We have seen all kinds of raunchy stuff in music videos since the early 1980s.  So, the Erykah Badu ‘Window Seat’ Video is not really anything new.  But this performer does it for five minutes as she strips out of her black overcoat and purple hoody, as well as the black pants and a sheer white T-shirt.  This five minute video clip was taken in Dallas Texas, near where Pres. Kennedy was assassinated.  No one seemed to mind that there were some parents around that offered her their opinions.

 Other musical artists have done similar videos, such as Alanis Morissette in her ‘Thank U’ video and Blink-182 only had their tattoos showing when they did it in the 1999 video ‘What’s My Age Again?’.  And who could forget the Britney Spears video, ‘Toxic’ video.  When she had strategically placed sequences and followed it up with just some steam and her hands in the 2008 ‘Womanizer’. 

More recently, Lady Gaga almost showed us everything in the ‘Telephone’ video and the Flaming Lips singer, Wayne Coyne, showed us everything during the ‘Watching the Planetsclub’ clip.  There’s always artists out there that are pushing the envelope, and it seems as though the Erykah Badu Window Seat video is just one more in the long list.  If you are looking just to listen to some awesome music, check out this Wiz Khalifa video.
